è����˶���Ƶ College has been a vibrant and safe second home for Mars Bickford ’25. “I don’t think I would have felt that I could explore my personal gender identity anywhere else,” they said.

è����˶���Ƶ College senior Marley Berano ’25 said, “I was looking for a place to grow [and] challenge myself but also to have a social life or work on the side while not losing my sport at the same time.”

Cindie Huerta-Velazquez ’25 connects food and community at è����˶���Ƶ: “We all have different friend groups, but once a week we come together to talk about anything and everything. We intentionally make that time and effort to be together.”

è����˶���Ƶ College senior Aby Soumare ’25 said, “I’ve found that no matter what, everyone working on this campus wants you to succeed.”

Senior Cynthia Obianuju Akanaga ’25 said, “è����˶���Ƶ changed my life. I’ve always been afraid of making the wrong choice, but being here helped me put that fear into a positive light.”

“I met with every disabilities department of the schools I was looking at. è����˶���Ƶ seemed most receptive. There was a willingness to work with me in meaningful ways.”

“I met one of my best friends that first year, and we still talk and have dinners weekly. It's been nice to finally feel like I’ve found forever friends at college.”

“Here at è����˶���Ƶ, my professors taught me that there’s a way to combine different academic disciplines to tackle complex, difficult problems. They offered me so much mentorship, inclusivity and communication.”

“I talk with friends who are not è����˶���Ƶ students, and they have limited research experience. But here, I’ve done research with two advisors in two different departments.”

“è����˶���Ƶ taught me that there isn’t one right way to be a student or live your life. My classmates weren’t my competition. They were my support system. This allowed me to reflect on what I want.”
