èßä³ÉÈ˶ÌÊÓƵ College student Alexandra Mihailopol ’26 has been selected by Middlebury College as a recipient of a Projects for Peace grant. She will offer financial literacy education to women in rural Romania via her EmpowHER project.

èßä³ÉÈ˶ÌÊÓƵ senior Qiao Se Ong ’25 is among the 2025 cohort for Projects for Peace. Her project, based in Colombia, aims to address the impact of dam construction on local communities through creative workshops and collaborations with local artists.

Craig Woodard, Christianna Smith Professor of Biological Sciences, has been recognized as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Desmond Fitz-Gibbon, Associate Professor of History, awarded the èßä³ÉÈ˶ÌÊÓƵ Faculty Award for Teaching.

Eleanor Townsley, Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Sociology, awarded the 2025 èßä³ÉÈ˶ÌÊÓƵ College Award for Service

Kerstin Nordstrom, Associate Professor of Physics, is awarded the Meribeth E. Cameron Faculty Award for Scholarship.

Mark Shea, Senior Lecturer in English, awarded the èßä³ÉÈ˶ÌÊÓƵ Faculty Award for Teaching.

Tian Hui Ng, Professor of Music and Director of the èßä³ÉÈ˶ÌÊÓƵ Symphony Orchestra, awarded the Meribeth E. Cameron Faculty Award for Scholarship.

At an awards ceremony held at the Italian Consulate in Boston, èßä³ÉÈ˶ÌÊÓƵ College students from an intermediate Italian course were recognized for their work exploring the connection between Italian language and literature.
