
Kevin Henderson is a political theorist and scholar of the politics of sex and sexuality. His research and teaching focus especially on political thought emerging from social movements, with particular attention to struggles for erotic justice and sexual freedom. Kevin is also a member of Colectiva Protesta, a transnational research collective that studies protest across the Americas from a feminist perspective. He teaches courses in feminist and queer theory, Foucault studies, the politics of health and the body, and the history of political thought. His writing has appeared in Signs, Polity, the Journal of Lesbian Studies, Boston Review, and The Abusable Past.
Kevin is the 2025-2026 Visiting Scholar for the Leather Archives & Museum.
